Registration for the 2026 Joint Universities Accelerator School (JUAS) is now open for applicants.
JUAS is an international graduate school designed for scientists and engineers currently studying to complete a master’s degree or preparing a doctoral thesis who are interested in learning more about particle accelerator physics and applications. Early career professionals are also encouraged to apply.
JUAS offers two five-week courses comprising approximately 100 hours of lectures backed up by live tutorials, computer sessions and group work. Written examinations enable students to earn ECTS credits from their home university.
The first course is on the science of particle accelerators, and the second course covers the technology and applications of particle accelerators.
- Course 1 will run between 12 January to 13 February 2026
- Course 2 will run between 16 February to 20 March 2026.
The deadline to apply for the courses is 5 November 2025.
